Categorical Residency

The Categorical Program is a three year program leading to board certification in Internal Medicine. The program focuses on the clinical skills knowledge and humanistic qualities of the internist.

Practicing clinical excellence while utilizing scientific thought processes is the central theme of our educational effort. An evidence-based approach is emphasized both in the inpatient and ambulatory care setting.

The program challenges each resident with progressively increasing responsibility in a setting characterized by close faculty mentoring.
