Electives Visiting Student
Visiting Student Coordinator Please begin the application process four-to-six months in advance. Application InstructionsOnly students who are in good standing and have not yet received their M.D. or D.O. degree are eligible to apply.
Only students who are in good standing and have not yet received their M.D. or D.O. degree are eligible to apply. Applicants who attend schools in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico must fill out the Visiting Student Application. All other students attending other schools must complete the Foreign Visiting Student Application. Positive titer serology for Measles, Rubella and Hepatitis B are required from foreign students. We will accept MMRs and a 3-dose series for Hepatitis B from visiting students. Attention Visiting Students: New Policies Effective ImmediatelyAs part of the New York State Department of Health requirement, effective immediately all students, physicians, and staff are required to be vaccinated for seasonal flu as well as H1N1 when supplies are available. Please open and review the following pdf for complete details on the influenze vaccination. Foreign visiting students do not call the divisions directly. They must submit all documents to the address on top of the first page of Foreign Visiting Student Application for processing.
