WelcomeIn the News: The Institute of Medical Education (IME) has been named one of the 14 institutes at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM). We are proud to join the other 13 established institutes dedicated to advancing translational research, clinical care and education - the heart of the School's Strategic Plan. For additional information, please see the August edition of Inside Mount Sinai. The Institute for Medical Education at Mount Sinai School of Medicine exists for the benefit of our teaching faculty. The existence of such an Institute is a powerful testament to our passionate commitment to education and to our teaching faculty. Our goals are to help develop and promote our teaching faculty, help them build teaching and leadership skills, introduce mentoring opportunities, and reward and recognize excellence in teaching. We are now accepting our first round of MSSM faculty applications for IME Fellows and Master Educators. Basic Membership is also available. Fellow and Master Educator Applications Due: September 18, 2009 Announcement of new IME Members/Fellows/Master Educators: November 16, 2009 For this first round of applicants, we will be accepting the first 30 applications on a first come, first serve basis.
