Education Research Day
Information for Poster Presenters
Congratulations! The Selection Committee is pleased you will share your educational work with colleagues on October 23rd from 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. in the Guggenheim Atrium. The following guidelines will assist you in preparation for the event:
- You have been assigned an abstract number. You will have a 3'x5' complete side of a poster board to expand your abstract, either by preparing a single poster to cover that area or by creating a title and images of your own to cover that space.
- Your poster will be paid for by the Institute for Medical Education
- Your poster should be designed using PowerPoint - PowerPoint Poster Templates
- Send your PowerPoint file via e-mail to ryan.camping@mssm.edu per the assigned slot e-mailed to you (each person will be given a deadline).
- You will be responsible for picking up your poster in Annenberg 16-90. The poster will be ready in a tube for carrying.
- Posters will be 36" x 56"
- On October 23rd, between 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M., find your abstract number and set up your poster presentation. We will have push pins, etc. available. If you need special materials, the contact information is listed below. Following the events, which end at 6:00 P.M., you can take down your poster.
- Review your abstract, which will be published in an Education Research Day monograph. Make sure that there are no spelling errors in names, titles or text, that you keep to the 275-word limit by judicious editing, and that your data points are correct and easy to read, particularly numbers of those in your intervention and/or evaluation population. If your innovation is currently underway, please say so.
- Please contact Bridget O'Brien via e-mail at - bridget.obrien@mssm.edu - with any questions.
