Education Research Day

Overview

Education Research Day is an annual event sponsored by the IME. Its purpose is to capture the creative and exciting work in educational research, analysis and innovation taking place every day at Mount Sinai and its affiliates. The goal of Education Research Day is to showcase that work, to share faculty efforts with others in our community and to encourage and motivate more faculty to find ways to join in this important work.

Teaching faculty and house staff from across Mount Sinai School of Medicine and its affiliates are invited to submit abstracts describing their "best practice" educational work. "Best practice" can occur in:

• MSSM's undergraduate basic science education
• MSSM's graduate school
• MSSM's clinical education
• Graduate medical education here and at our affiliated consortium sites
• Continuing medical education offerings
• Faculty development activities
• Educational technology innovations
• Evaluation
• Community-based learning activities
