Workshops

The Institute for Medical Education (IME) provides a series or workshops, designed as a la carte sessions, to provide faculty with tools to enhance teaching effectiveness. Past workshops have included Small Group Teaching Techniques, Evaluation and Feedback in Medical Education, How to Create Exams and Write Test Questions, How to Write Educational Goals and Objectives, Giving Effective Lectures/Presentations, Providing Constructive Feedback, Teaching with Limited Time, Setting Goals for Learners, and Using Questions as a Teaching Tool.

Workshops are open to all faculty on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each workshop has a maximum number of participants to optimize the experience for those who attend. We welcome you to join us by signing up for an upcoming workshop (see below).
