Overview One, two, and three day courses are offered throughout the year addressing a broad range of minimally invasive surgery topics. The details for each course, including fees, are listed with each course description. AccreditationThese activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the sponsorship of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Mount Sinai School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Mount Sinai School of Medicine designates these continuing medical education activities for a maximum of (see course description) in Category one credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours that he/she spent in the educational activity. DisclosureIt is the policy of Mount Sinai School of Medicine to ensure objectivity, balance, independence, transparency, and scientific rigor in all CME-sponsored educational activities. All faculty participating in the planning or implementation of a sponsored activity are expected to disclose to the audience any relevant financial relationships and to assist in resolving any conflict of interest that may arise from the relationship. Presenters must also make a meaningful disclosure to the audience of their discussions of unlabeled or unapproved drugs or devices. This information will be available as part of the course material. Course Cancellation PolicyThe Department of Surgery and Page and William Black Post-Graduate School of Medicine reserve the right to cancel courses due to a low number of registrants. In the unlikely event of a course cancellation, Mount Sinai will notify individuals already registered for these courses 21 days in advance of the course.
