Location

The Mount Sinai Minimally Invasive Surgery Center is located on New York City's Upper East Side, directly across from Central Park, on the campus of Mount Sinai School of Medicine and The Mount Sinai Hospital.

The location of physician offices varies, so please check the address listed for each member in the faculty section.

The Mount Sinai Hospital can be accessed via Fifth Avenue and 101st Street.

Many of the MISC educational activities are conducted within Mount Sinai School of Medicine's Icahn Medical Institute located at 1425 Madison Avenue at the corner of 98th Street.

Directions to Mount Sinai

Air

New York is served by three major airports (JFK International, LaGuardia, and Newark International). Ground transportation (taxis, shuttle buses) is available at all three airports with easy connections to Manhattan.

Car

• Brooklyn: Take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway to the Brooklyn Bridge to the FDR Drive North. Exit at 96th Street, and turn right on Madison Avenue.

• Long Island & Queens: Take the Grand Central Parkway (West) and the Triborough Bridge to the FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street, and turn right on Madison Avenue.

• New Jersey: Take the George Washington Bridge to the Harlem River/FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street, and turn right on Madison Avenue.

• Staten Island: Take the Verrazano Bridge to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (North) to the FDR Drive (North). Exit at 96th Street, and turn right on Madison Avenue.

• Westchester and Connecticut: Take the New England Thruway (95 South) and the Triborough Bridge to the FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street, and turn right on Madison Avenue

• Parking: The entrance to the Mount Sinai Parking Garage is located on the SW corner of 99th Street and Park Avenue.

Train/Bus

The Mount Sinai campus is within a few minutes walking distance of public transportation stops (M4 bus and the Lexington Avenue Line number 6 train to 96th Street). Both the "M4" and the "6 Train" connect directly with Pennsylvania Station and Grand Central Station, respectively.
