Doris Duke Charitable Foundation
Clinical Research Fellowship (CRF) Program for Medical Students
Overview
Structure
Of the fellows selected each year, two fellows are chosen from medical schools
without CRF programs, assuming that highly-qualified candidates
from such institutions have submitted applications.
The fellowship consists of both a research and a didactic
component over the course of one academic year and includes student presentations, interactive discussions, and informal
sessions throughout. Each fellow is matched to an outstanding
clinical research team. Towards the end of the year, students
and their mentors will attend a national meeting where they
will present the results of their research and have the opportunity
to meet other participants.
