The Neuro-AIDS Fellowship consists of a one to two year training program in the neurologic complications of HIV. Clinical responsibilities include a weekly Neuro-AIDS clinic, and inpatient consults. Additional training in neuromuscular disorders and EMG is also available to the Neuro-AIDS fellow. Participation in educational activities is encouraged.

Research Opportunities
The fellow is also actively involved in a wide variety of research projects including both observational research in the Manhattan HIV Brain Bank (www.mhbb.org) and clinical trials of therapeutics for conditions such as HIV-associated dementia, PML, myelopathy, and distal sensory polyneuropathy.
