Deborah Carson, R.N., B.S.N., M.P.H.

Nurse Coordinator for the Endovascular Neurosurgery and Interventional Neuroradiology Service, has been a neuroscience nurse for twenty years. Initially trained in neuroscience nursing at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel, she has worked with neurologic patients throughout the lifespan, from birth to geriatrics. Following a long period of service at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, she has recently joined the Mount Sinai Neurosurgery Department to work with Dr. Aman Patel, expert in minimally invasive techniques to restore cerebral circulation and address neurologic symptoms. Ms. Carson is committed to helping to facilitate care of patients with complicated cardiac histories, cancer, or other conditions. She welcomes the opportunity to meet with families to provide information and address concerns surrounding the care of patients who may benefit from innovative neuro-vascular techniques.
