Rehabilitation

Rehabilitaiton therapy begins as soon as medically feasible during the acute hospitalization. Progress and goals are reviewed by the physiatrist and the treating team of therapists on a regular basis. When appropriate, patients are transferred to the inpatient rehabilitation unit for intensive therapy. Our multifaceted program is coordinated with Mount Sinai's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and includes the following therapies:
