Overview

The Mount Sinai Clinical Center for Cranial Base Surgery, Department of Neurosurgery, provides a comprehensive, highly advanced treatment program for lesions of nerve, blood vessel, and brain in the complex structures and remote recesses at the base of the skull. The multidisciplinary Center unites the expertise of surgical specialists in neurosurgery, otolaryngology/head and neck cancer, craniofacial surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and microvascular and reconstructive procedures.

Together they have pioneered the development of minimally invasive techniques, including purely endoscopic tumor resection and stereotactic radiosurgery, to treat complex skull base lesions.
