Medical Innovation Center Events
To get involved with the Medical Innovation Center (MIC) and its efforts, members of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM) community should attend our regular open houses and roundtable discussion lunches. We also encourage both seasoned and aspiring entrepreneurs to schedule one-on-one meetings with us, so that we can begin the process of developing your ideas into high-impact commercial products.
Open MIC Nights
The MIC hosts weekly casual open houses the third Thursday of every month. These casual events are open to members of the MSSM community and are intended to stimulate dialogue about the start-up process. Join us for drinks, snacks, and conversation about science and entrepreneurship.
Time: 3rd Thursday of every month, 5 - 6 P.M.
Location: OTBD Office, 71 E 96th St (between Park Ave. and Madison Ave.)
Note: No RSVP is required to attend these events.
Roundtable Discussions
Consistent with its commitment to MSSM community education, the MIC hosts monthly roundtable discussions focused on specific areas of entrepreneurship and venture creation. On the first Wednesday of every month, we host a small group lunch in which a start-up expert leads discussion of that month's topic. Seating is limited, so RSVP is required.
Time: 1st Wednesday of every month, 12 - 1 P.M.
Location: Changes on a monthly basis
Note: Space for these events is limited. RSVP via e-mail to Manny Simons

We encourage MSSM researchers to visit us at the earliest stages of idea generation, so that we can work together to form the best research and commercialization strategies possible.
