Medical Student Research Office

Welcome to the Medical Student Research Office Home Page. This site was created to help medical students at Mount Sinai find information on student research opportunities, sources of funding, prizes and awards, and much more. The Office exists to help Mount Sinai medical students identify interesting areas of research and to locate potential mentors who are working in these areas. This office is available not only to students who have had previous research experience, but also to those who have not. Opportunities exist for both basic and clinical research. Several different mechanisms exist by which students can obtain research experience. Participating faculty mentors represent a wide variety of disciplines, providing opportunities for students in many different areas.
