Medical Student Research Office

Research Day 2009

Mount Sinai School of Medicine’s Fourteenth Annual Medical Student Research Day will be held on November 5, 2009. All Mount Sinai medical students and MSTP students who are pursing basic or clinical research are asked to submit an abstract and present posters on their work. Research must have been done during medical school, but may have been done at an institution other than Mount Sinai School of Medicine (MSSM).

Abstracts must be submitted via WEB-ED by August 14, 2009. (login required)

The Research Day Advisory Committee will review blinded abstracts. The top four (4) abstracts will be selected for oral presentations, including at least one abstract on a clinical project and one by an MSPT student. No more than one of the oral presentations can be made by an MSTP student. To be eligible for oral presentation, the student must be the first author of the abstract. Presentations should be 10 minutes, followed by five minutes for questions. The four students giving oral presentations will receive a $250.00 prize.
