Faculty

The faculty of the Integrated Palliative Medicine Fellowship includes an extensive interdisciplinary team of individuals with a broad spectrum of expertise and interests. Physicians have expertise in clinical care, research, education, administration, leadership, and program development. In addition, faculty members are specialists in hematology-oncology, geriatrics, psychiatry, home care, critical care, nephrology, interventional pain, pediatrics, hospice, and long-term care. Other members of the interdisciplinary team include nurses, social workers, chaplains, pharmacists, and massage therapists.

Fellows will have the opportunity to work with all members of the interdisciplinary team during clinical rotations and educational sessions. These individuals also serve as mentors for research and career development. In addition, leaders in palliative medicine of varying backgrounds are brought from throughout the country to Mount Sinai to teach the fellows.
