Geriatric Fellows

There are currently two palliative care training opportunities available to Geriatrics fellows at Mount Sinai:

Required Palliative Care Rotation

All Geriatrics fellows are required to complete a 4 week rotation at Mount Sinai School of Medicine during the first year of their Geriatric Fellowship program.

Palliative Care Track

The Geriatrics fellowship program requires each fellow to choose one of four tracks during his/her second year: clinician-educator, palliative care, clinical research, basic science, or health policy and administration. Geriatrics Fellows who choose the palliative care track and complete the core geriatrics fellowship in 2 years are board-eligible in both geriatrics and palliative medicine.
