Dr. Laraque is the Debra and Leon Black Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of General Pediatrics at Mount Sinai School
of Medicine and the District II Vice-Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). A pediatrician with over 20 years of clinical
experience who continues to see her own patients, Dr. Laraque's commitment to mental health issues is evident through the numerous
projects she has undertaken, including development of the award winning CD-ROM Feelings Need Check Ups Too and
her involvement in various committees including the newly formed AAP National Mental Health Task Force.
