Developmental Pediatrics

Research has focused on how the developmental outcome of high-risk newborns is influenced by family and environmental factors. Methods are being sought to identify and track high-risk newborns who are currently lost to the follow-up system. The effectiveness of therapeutic services for medically fragile infants is being tracked as part of the new Early Intervention Program.
