enefits include choices within the BasicCare program of comprehensive, affordable medical benefits. There are choices of medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage. Postdoctoral Fellows are eligible for life insurance of 1.5x base salary at no cost to them. Postdoctoral Fellows can select medical coverage for their eligible dependents at a modest cost. Postdoctoral Fellows may establish a Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) and/or a Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA).

Mount Sinai pays for basic short-term disability (STD) coverage for two-thirds of base pay up to $170 per week. Postdoctoral Fellows are eligible for unpaid FMLA, if necessary.
