Alex Maderazo, MD, is a Board Certified Radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging and imaging guided interventional procedures.
Dr. Maderazo graduated magna cum laude from Brown University and received a combined M.D./M.B.A. degree from the University of Connecticut. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Maderazo completed his fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Hospital for Special Surgery where he joined the faculty upon completion of his training. He then served as Chief of the division of Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Westchester Medical Center introducing advanced imaging techniques to the Hudson Valley inclusive of musculoskeletal ultrasound, cartilage sensitive MRI and imaging of joints with metallic prostheses.
Dr. Maderazo joined the Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2013 as Assistant Professor of Radiology and Chief of the division of Musculoskeletal Radiology. Using the state of the art technology available at Mount Sinai, he offers a broad and highly specialized range of orthopedic imaging services.
