A Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Miles is co-Chief of the Division of Head and Neck Cancer Surgery at the Department of Otolaryngology at the Mount Sinai Health System. He has extensive expertise in head and neck oncology/microvascular surgery – including robotic surgery - at the Head and Neck Institute, providing patients with state-of-the-art care for head and neck diseases and complex oral maxillofacial conditions.

His clinical interests encompass oncologic head and neck surgery, reconstructive surgery and oral/maxillofacial surgery/trauma. One of his primary areas of concentration is the Advaxis/Window of Opportunity HPV-related Tonsil and Tongue Base Cancer Vaccine clinical trial, for which he is Principal Investigator at the Icahn School of Medicine’s Head and Neck Cancer Research Program.
