Hoshida lab employs multidisciplinary, translational approaches to chronic liver diseases including liver cirrhosis and cancer, with particular emphasis on genomics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, clinical diagnostics, and chemical biology, and is currently focusing on the following projects with NIH funding.
1. Molecular signature for clinical outcome prediction in liver cirrhosis and cancer.
2. Molecular classification of liver cancer to guide personalized treatment.
3. Nanotechnology-based drug delivery for treatment of liver cirrhosis and cancer.
