Clinical Services

  • Ambulatory
    Rapid access, triage, assessment, and treatment initiation; walk-in capability, aggressive, short-term targeted therapy by interdisciplinary staff for appropriate care recipients; longer-term, ongoing treatment of those with severe and persistent mental illness; extensive use of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies, group modalities, and psychopharmacology.

  • Mentally ill / Chemically Addicted (MICA) Partial Hospital
    50 adult slots; ALOS 4-6 weeks; 24-hour/7-day access; multidisciplinary program designed for patients with acute symptomatology at risk for psychosocial deterioration who do not require acute hospitalization in a locked inpatient program. Interventions target psychiatric illness and substance abuse and include psychopharmacology, psycho-education, therapeutic contracting/behavior modification, individual and group modalities, and family/multifamily intervention; active case management and insertion into community/self-support groups.

  • Day Treatment
    100 adult slots for intensive and moderate-level psychiatric rehabilitation; 5 day and reduced programming by multidisciplinary staff. Explicit expertise in severe and persistent mental illness management for psychotic, mood, MICA, and severe personality disorders. ALOS ranges from 2-3 weeks for transitional step-down programming up to 14 months.

  • Transitional Employment Programs
    50 adult slots for those individuals requiring job skills training/retraining to enter into the competitive workforce.

  • Inpatient
    42 adult beds with state-of-the art program space, single bed rooms; ALOS 11 days (diagnosis-specific ALOS range 3 -18 days); expertise in rapid assessment, treatment initiation, and discharge by multidisciplinary team with extensive managed care expertise; care mapping in place for range of psychotic disorders.
