The department also spotlights its own academic interests with several
presentations from its faculty and residents yearly. During Clinical Grand Rounds
a residents' (typically during the third year) has the oppurtunity to present a complex patient case and formulation, developed under the guidance of a mentoring faculty member invited to serve as a case discussant, focusing on interesting diagnostic and therapeutic issues raised by the case.
