Triple Board Program
Trainees
PGY-2
Anne Bird
anne.bird@mssm.edu
Anne was born and raised in London, England, and arrived at Mount Sinai complete with the British accent, charm and sarcastic wit. She went to Bristol University Medical School where, among other things, published research that compared US and UK adolescents on how their health awareness and knowledge predicts their healthy/unhealthy behaviors. After spending six years in the British National Health Service, Anne opted to take the American-route for residency. So she up and left the grim grayness of her London-existence and landed in the sunny excitement of New York City.
Why triple board? For the love of pediatrics, passion for psychiatry, and fascination with the adolescent mind.
Advice for interviewees: "Come to the interview with an open mind. Be honest with yourself as to what you want in a program and then go with your gut."
