Roanna majored in Biology and Philosophy at Virginia Commonwealth University. After a 2 year stint in Japan as an English teacher, Roanna returned to the city of her birth to start medical school at Mount Sinai. There she learned about an amazing residency program called the "Triple Board," which would allow her to combine all her varied interests.

Why triple board? The solidarity and feeling of community among the Triple Boarders.

Advice for interviewees: Do an elective in child psychiatry - make sure the program is right for you!
