The Mount Sinai School of Medicine Consortium for Graduate Medical Education, consisting of 13 institutions located in New York and New Jersey, sponsors more than 140 residency programs in virtually every specialty of medicine, enrolling in the aggregate more than 2,000 house staff. Consortium educational activities provided to all house staff, regardless of home institution or specialty.

Program Overview

The Department of Radiology of The Mount Sinai Medical Center is pleased to offer a fellowship in Body Imaging. The Department is equipped with 5 Multi-slice CT scanners & 2 Single slice helical CT scanners (General Electric & Siemens), Five 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners (General Electric & Siemens) and 11 Ultrasound units (Phillips/ATL and Siemens/Acuson).

The year long fellowship provides instruction in CT and Ultrasound. Elective time is offered in MRI and/or Mammography. Body Imaging fellows also participate in resident and medical student education. Many research opportunities exist in the Department and participation of the fellow is encouraged.
