Mount Sinai Spinal Cord Injury Model System

The Mount Sinai Spinal Cord Injury Model System (MS-SCI-MS) is one of sixteen model systems federally funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. Current research projects include a study of the development of chronic pain after SCI; a meta-analysis of reports on the incidence, prevalence, consequences, and treatment of chronic pain after SCI; and a demonstration of preventive healthcare for people with SCI.
