The National Alzheimers Association Web site is a good resource, its national number is (800) 272-3800. The Alzheimer's Association provides a wide variety of free services for patients, caregivers, and families. Help is available 24 hours a day.

Finally, a Web site for older adults has been developed by the National Institute on Aging. The site has enlarged text and talking features and offers information about a wide variety of health topics, including dementia.

ClinicalTrials.gov is a comprehensive listing of clinical trials in the U.S. and abroad. The Web site offers accurate and unbiased information about a study's purpose, location and entry criteria. The site includes all trials conducted at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
