Postdoctoral Fellow
A full-time postdoctoral position is available to develop tools and algorithms for the analysis of biological cellular regulatory networks using graph theory, differential equations, and other mathematical approaches. The position requires a PhD in one of the following sciences: Biomedical Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical or Systems Engineering and relevant experience with applications to biology and bioinformatics. Applicants must be highly motivated and recent PhD graduates. Applicants should be proficient in computer programming including languages such as C, PHP, Perl, and Matlab. Salary will be commensurate with experience and is in addition to a fringe benefit package.

Software Engineer
A full-time position is available in a challenging innovative and entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will work on projects related to bioinformatics and systems biology including developing, writing and implementing software programming applications. Project work would include, but not be limited to developing and maintaining search engines, NLP, XML databases, automated bioinformatics workflows, and AI classifier systems.
Required Skills: BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields of study; extensive knowledge of data structures and algorithms, i.e., graphs, trees, hash tables, linked lists; experience writing web-based applications; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of Biology; experience with bioinformatics projects; experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning; ability to write well; experience with multithread programming and MPI; knowledge of PHP, MySQL and XML.
Must be self-motivated, detail- and task-oriented with the ability to take initiative and follow direction.
