About Us
The Orthopaedic Research Laboratories (ORL) at MSSM specialize in using multidisciplinary approaches to address fundamental questions in the field of orthopaedic research. The environment between the basic science and clinical investigators is highly collaborative. The ORL focuses on soft-tissue injury and repair research programs investigating tendon, whole joint mechanics, spine, and nerve. Our focus across tissues and joints involve improving understanding of the pathomechanisms associated with injury, aging and degeneration as well as promising approaches for tissue and joint repair.
