The facility offers assistance and expertise to investigators requesting the preparation of monoclonal antibodies to a desired antigen. Currently, the Hybridoma Shared Research Facility provides a general package production of a hybridoma, which includes services such as the immunization of animals, cell fusions, screening via ELISA, isotyping, and cryopreservation. The facility also provides additional services of large scale growth of hybridoma supernatant and antibody purification. In the future, we plan to provide a wider variety of screening options such as Western blotting and flow cytometric analysis.
