GeneChip System
Sample Submission
The most critical factor toward
a successful microarray experiment is the QUALITY of your
original RNA. Excellent experiment design, chip manufacturing,
target labeling, bioinformatics, and annotation can only work
if you provide a high quality of experimental RNA.
PLEASE PROVIDE ALL THE DETAILED INFORMATION REQUESTED
ON THE SUBMISSION FORM.
Affymetrix Sample Submission Guideline
The Microarray Facility offers two types of service on
the Affymetrix GeneChip system. Please select the appropriate
service according to your laboratory needs.
- Full
Service*

We accept good quality total RNA samples. The RNA is
subjected to an initial checkup by Agilent BioAnalyzer, followed
by double-stranded cDNA synthesis, in vitro transcription/
target labeling, hybridization/control mixture preparation,
chip-hybridization, and post-processing procedure. You receive
data stored on a CD.
- Partial
Service*

We accept biotin-labeled fragmented cRNA. The RNA will
be used directly for preparation of a hybridization cocktail
based on the information provided, followed by chip hybridization
and post-processing procedure.
* Please bring along your data CD at the next sample submission
