Office of Technology and Business Development

The Office of Technology and Business Development (OTBD) mission is to enable the development and commercialization of the intellectual property of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Included in the activities of OTBD are the following:

• Management of the patent prosecutions
• Negotiation of technology license agreements
• Execution of Confidentiality Agreements
• Negotiation of Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs)
• Administration of license income
• Administration and management on the Technology Development Fund
