The Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute

The faculty and staff of the RMTI draw upon Mount Sinai's long tradition of excellence in their commitment to providing the highest quality of care for their patients. Expert integration of multidisciplinary medical services is one of the major principles on which the RMTI is founded. Nurses, social workers, support staff, surgeons and physicians work in close collaboration to coordinate the complex treatments that characterize a patient's course before and after transplantation.

Within the programs of the RMTI is assembled an accomplished team of physicians and administrators, each of whom contribute their many skills, extensive experience, sound clinical judgment and reputable scholarship to uphold the quality of care that places the RMTI at the leading edge of research, education and clinical services.

By integrating expert professionals as a caring, well-balanced team and by combining their many individual strengths and talents, the RMTI is able to offer a broad scope of possibilities for our patients here at Mount Sinai. The faculty and staff named here are the standard bearers for the Institute.
