Resources for Students

First-Year Students

The focus of the first-year is on acclimating to medical school and developing effective study habits and strategies. During the year, students will have the opportunity to become involved in extracurricular activities, community service, research, education, global health, and clinical experiences. Students will meet individually with the Director of Student Affairs to talk about summer plans, and begin the career planning process.

Second-Year Students

The focus of the second-year is continuing to build the knowledge base to be successful as a clinical level student while continuing extracurricular activities, community service, research, education, global health, and clinical experiences. Finally, we work together to plan for Step I and Year 3.

Third-Year Students

The focus of the third-year is acclimation to the clinical milieu and patient care setting, continued career exploration, and continued professional development.
