Test Taking Skills

  1. Test Taking Skills
    1. Step II Board Review Course - Fourth year students of all academic abilities can take the Step II Board Review Course. This review course is a comprehensive systems-based course which is held every July and is a successful approach to the Step II exam. Registration occurs in late May and students who successfully complete the course receive four weeks of clinical elective credit.
To register: Students must first contact Dr. Yasmin Meah at yasmin.meah@mssm.edu and fill out a clinical electives registration form which can be found at: www.mssm.edu/students/registrar/.
Dr. Meah's signature is not required on the form and the student can submit directly to Ms. Kamila Bryson, Assistant Registrar, in Annenberg 13-30.
    2. Step I and Step II - Individualized learning plans are constructed to incorporate tutors for students at risk for poor performance on Step I or Step II.
    3. Shelf Exams - Individualized learning plans are developed for students struggling with shelf exams in the clinical years of medical school.
