Adult Life

Adult Life connects medical students and patients recovering in the Spinal Cord or Traumatic Brain Injury units of the Deptartment of Rehabilitation Medicine. Many of these patients are recovering from surgery and are immobile, but they are alert, interested in conversation, and enjoy time with students. Students can brighten up a patient's recovery by interacting with them in their rooms, taking them for a walk in their wheelchair, and serving as a liason between patient and doctor. Our yearly holiday party and springtime celebration bring some fun to the KCC.
