Community Health and Health Policy Interest Group (CHHP)

Our primary mission is to act as a focal point for medical students to learn more about health policy issues as related to medicine and public health. Through lecture series, policy-position articles and facilitated discussion sessions, we hope to improve the level of health policy knowledge among the medical students at Sinai.

In addition, we are working with the School administration to better integrate health policy education into the curriculum. To best approach this, we have created a Health Policy Think Tank comprised of the student leaders at Mount Sinai. The Think Tank acts as a two-way avenue of communication between the students and the faculty involved in health policy education.
