Community Health Fair

It is with great excitement that we invite you to become involved with the 4th Annual Mount Sinai Community Health Fair. In recognition of the importance of health awareness and education among underserved populations, Mount Sinai medical students from various student organizations have come together to form the Community Health Steering Committee, dedicated to actively improving the health of the community served by The Mount Sinai Medical Center. The fair will be held in April 2007.

The goals for the Mount Sinai Community Health Fair include:

• Offer basic health screening services needed in the community
• Educate participants in strategies for healthy living by distributing medical information and holding interactive seminars
• Provide a referral network for participants
• Foster increased interactions between Mount Sinai and the community
