Muslim Student Assocation

Muslim Student Assocation was founded in order to convey a sense of presence and to foster understanding between the students of Islamic faith and rest of the student body. The goals of this club include serving the best interests of Islam and the Muslims of Mount Sinai Medical School, while tending to the academic interests of non-Muslims in the hope of increasing awareness of Islam, as well as related cultural sensitivities. Islam is a monotheistic “Abrahamic ” religion with an estimated 1.5 to 2 billion individuals worldwide and is the third most prevalent religion in the United States after Christianity and Judaism.
