Students for Integrative Medicine (SIM)

As the popularity of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) modalities continues to grow in the U.S., Students for Integrative Medicine (SIM) provides students with opportunities to learn more about CAM through lectures, seminars, and CAM practitioner shadowing. Journal clubs are held to critically analyze CAM related scientific literature with the knowledge that further quality research into CAM treatments is needed. Additionally, OHM promotes the idea that medicine is as much an art as it is a science and should address the individual needs of a patient’s mind, body, and spirit to attain patient well being.
