Introduction

TBI Central comprises the Web site of the Brain Injury Research Center (BIRC) at Mount Sinai. The BIRC has a sole focus on conducting research addressing the challenges of traumatic brain injury, or TBI. It does this primarily through three Federal grants:

The first two of these Centers are funded by the National Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research; the third is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, through awards to the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai.

This site provides diverse resources for professionals, people with TBI, and their family members.

You can also provide us feedback or be added to the Brain Injury Research Center's mailing list.
