Postdoctoral Fellowships in Advanced Rehabilitation Research

With funding from NIDRR, two-year research fellowships will be made available for newly graduated psychologists (Advanced Rehabilitation Training Grant H133P000001). Training combines 60 percent time in research activities within the TBI Research Center at Mount Sinai and 40 percent clinical experience with individuals with acquired brain injury. Fellows are involved in implementation of research activities. They also engage in a variety of training courses, i.e., master's level research courses in biostatistics and epidemiology, offered within the Department of Environmental Medicine; a seminar on qualitative methodology; and training on statistical programs and grant writing. Fellows attend the weekly planning/administrative meeting of the TBI Research Center and are expected to be active participants. Fellows complete an independent research project during their training, present findings at conferences for professionals and prepare findings for publication.
